The Children's Ministry at FBC Troup consists of newborns through 5th graders. We provide a safe and fun environment for your children to come and learn about Jesus.

We offer multiple age-based classes in our nursery and several grade-based classes for our older children.

Welcome to our student ministry at FBC Troup.

Our mission is simple:  Make Disciples that Make Disciples.  To do this, we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and we teach our students to do the same.  We teach them to Love God and Love People.

Our Youth Ministry is for students that are in 6th-12th grade.

If you have any questions, please contact us.

When Proverbs 22 states to “train up your child in the way he should go,” it is again reminding us that it is the responsibility of the parent to teach a child the ways of our lord.  Our student ministry objective is to assist and encourage parents as they accept this responsibility and seek to “train up your child.”

By providing family devotionals, training sessions, parent-child events and different publications, we hope to help you to be more equipped to disciple and raise your child to fear and love the Lord.  Through our student devotionals, weekend worship hours, mid-week Bible-studies, and periodic student events we strive to assist you by reinforcing the truths you are teaching in your home.

We would love to help you find the right class! Please contact the church office at (903) 842-3091

FBC Troup is proud to offer a variety of adult ministries.
We want that everyone who is added to our family to find a place
that will fill their hearts with the blessings God has in store for them.
Sunday Morning Bible Study

Because of the varied needs of the people, we offer several different class options. Our adult class structure is designed so that you can choose from various couple’s classes, or men’s and women’s classes depending upon your preference. Visitors are encouraged to attend various classes to find the one that is most suitable to your current needs in life.

We continually seek God’s guidance and direction in all programs and ministries to insure that we provide ample opportunity for Christian service and growth.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

          -Matthew 28:19-20

The Missions Ministry exists to encourage and assist members in fulfilling the Great Commission. We work with other ministries within the church to promote missions and provide opportunities for members to be involved in mission work at the local, state, national and world-wide levels.

Other mission focus activities include Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Basket projects, supporting the Troup Food Pantry, Troup Care outreach, Operation Christmas Child, and support of the Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions, Mary Hill Davis Offering for Texas Missions, and Lottie Moon Offering for Foreign Missions.
